cut it out with a saw, then used a flat piece of metal and rolled it with the roller until i got the shape.. then welded it up. i should of taken more out of it, but itll be fine

No problem. could of gotten away by going all the way to the top of the crossmember, but it was ahrd as hell to cut it regardless. if you have time and patients you can take it down buy cutting off the rivets and using bolts to put it back in..
