275/60-20 instead of 275/55-20 - Any real issues?

I'm due for new tires soon and like the look of the 275/60-20 versus the standard 275/55-20.

Does running this taller aspect ratio on stock 20s with stock ride height & ECM settings cause any clearance or other issues?

I ran 275/60's on stock suspension with no issues. No rubbing until I put more aggressive A/T's and 1.5" wheel spacers on.

Stock just cranked stock bars:

Level keys in front, 1" coil spacers in rear and 1.5" wheel spacers:

Correct. The added offset the spacers created caused the wheels to just catch the bottom of the fender liner when in reverse. Only trimming I've done is to the driver side fender liner by the washer fluid tank. No rubbing now

BUMP - I'm interested in the 275/60/20 as well. For some reason I have been really intrigued with the new Continental TerrainContact over the Michelin, and they have them in this size...

Same here regarding the Continentals.

I have a good buddy who went through 2 complete sets of Michelins within 80k miles. He drives like a grandpa and rotates his tires every 5k miles. He just bought new tires and decided to try Pirelli instead----he figures he should get more than 40k out of Michelins. I tend to agree.

My wife has Continentala on her Audi for about 20k miles now. They look and perform like brand new.

Let me know how they work out ubervic if you get them before me. Looks like the 275 60s will rub without trimming according to a long bfg at ko thread on here. Ill stick with 55s until my autoride craps, then convert it and do a mild lift...
