Hello everyone,
I tried to research prior to posting but cannot seem to get a solid answer. I have an '08 Tahoe 5.3L with 77k on it. This morning I went to get gas, turned the car off, and when I get back in it would not start. Nothing happened- no lights, nothing, just clicking from underneath the dash, I believe. Then after turning the key a few times, the lights came on, and started back up just like normal- voltage read 14.5-ish and the radio (aftermarket) had reset.

This keeps happening. I keep hearing the clicking and no-start, but then after a few tries it fires up. Battery is probably a year old and hadn't given me trouble yet. I keep reading about an actuator? But I have manual/non-auto hvac controls. Maybe an ignition switch?

New-ish to Chevy's american cars. Thanks for the help in advance!

And if that helps but doesn't totally get rid of the issue.... replace all the battery cables.
