I have a 2005 Yukon and I get a grinding noise when I apply the brakes hard, 99.9% of the time no noise.
When I first heard it I replaced the pads and calipers (135k miles and back caliper was frozen) on both the front and back and it still happens, so I don’t think it is the brakes.
Any help...

I found the problem. It was the Drive Door Module (DDM) fues located in the left dash instrument panel fues block.
I did replace the window switch module and that was not the problem but did video if anyone needs it. I plan to put it on you tube but...
I have no power to any of the controls (windows, locks, mirrors, heated seats, seat memory) on the drives side door on my 2005 GMC Yukon Denali. I have checked the 25A CB LT Doors and LBEC 1 and 2 fueses/CB and they are good. I don't understand how the circuit breaker works but it ohms out ok.
