    99 Yukon unknown noise

    I have an annoyance in my 99 Yukon, and can not locate it. Sounds like.....a cross between a wind/vacuum-kinda bearing/whine thingy, but then again it don't...? Not present when NOT in A/C mode.... When in heat mode, I've run thru all speeds and all actuator door positions and cannot replicate...

    resistor or no resistor in alt conversion pig tail

    I'm upgrading from si105 alternator to a cs144. I know I need a conversion pigtail, but dont know which one. I've read that if you have only the warning light the one with out the resistor is used. If you gave a alternator gauge the one with the resistor is used. Problem is on the 1999 Yukon...

    upgrade to cs1114 alternator in 99 yukon

    I have the cs144 alternator (Amazon) the fitment was for 99 Yukon, But the plugin were different, seems I need a pigtail to tie my present plug to the new alternator. dont know which one to get. first picture is old alternator plug second is cs144 alternator. Any assist appreciated, Ron

    wheel bolt (stud) size and length

    Can someone tell the me the over all length and size of the wheel bolts for the 99 Yukon? I think the size is 14mm x 1.50, but not sure about the length. I need extended length bolts to account for 1/2" spacers. Thanks in advance, Ron

    A/C recharge 99 yukon

    I have looked it up, but..... what I found was for a 1999 Yukon 5.7 Vortec with rear air it requires 2.7 lbs or 4 lbs of R134A for a recharge. That's quite a range, any one have first hand experience??? I think the 2.7 lbs is way off..............? Any assist appreciated, Ron

    This may well be a really stupid Question, but What does the 9/16 or 1/2 refer to when a brake line is 9/16-18, or 1/2-20? Is it the nut size or diameter of the the threads? I'm ready to do the Master Cylinder up grade, but the adapter I have BLF-26C will not screw into my Dorman M630031 master...
