    I have an annoyance in my 99 Yukon, and can not locate it. Sounds like.....a cross between a wind/vacuum-kinda bearing/whine thingy, but then again it don't...? Not present when NOT in A/C mode.... When in heat mode, I've run thru all speeds and all actuator door positions and cannot replicate...

    wheel bolt (stud) size and length

    Thanks for the reply, my solution to a tire clearance problem is solved, I decided to get new 1" 5x5 to 5x5 spacers and gain the additional clearance needed. I have a flat 1/2" spacer that was installed 7 years ago, but driver side is rubbing, probably due to worn suspension. Thanks again, Ron

    I have the cs144 alternator (Amazon) the fitment was for 99 Yukon, But the plugin were different, seems I need a pigtail to tie my present plug to the new alternator. dont know which one to get. first picture is old alternator plug second is cs144 alternator. Any assist appreciated, Ron

    I have looked it up, but..... what I found was for a 1999 Yukon 5.7 Vortec with rear air it requires 2.7 lbs or 4 lbs of R134A for a recharge. That's quite a range, any one have first hand experience??? I think the 2.7 lbs is way off..............? Any assist appreciated, Ron
