Has anybody had any recent problems with these two codes? This is the first I have experienced these and cleaning the MAFS only worked for a couple of hundred miles.
So this fall, I received a letter in the mail informing me that GM is issuing a preliminary recall for all models that contain the Takata airbag. (http://www.gmtakataairbag.com/product/public/us/en/takata_recall/home.html?)
A week later, my Airbag light came on and I get the "Service Airbag"...
I have the same problem with mine and from what I can find on here, it appears the u-joints needs to be replaced. Will be climbing underneath tonight and check it out.
Let me know how this goes. I'm going to try and tackle this next weekend. Maybe the New Driver side valve cover as well, if I can find he part number on here.
I fought the urge to go super-cheap when I replaced it as I wanted to get as close to the factory ride as possible (without dropping a grand on OEM) so I opted for the passive shocks which still air up with the compressor. I paired this up with a cheap set of Airlift helper bags from Amazon for...
07 Denali XL, just hit 212,000. Have replaced air-ride all the way around with Arnott passive front and rear shocks, new compressor unit and lines,
New brakes at around 200,000.
Any ideas how to find out if transmission or engine have been replaced during her lifetime?
Just stripped mine out today trying to change the diff fluid. Good thing I didn't drain the fluid first. New plug ordered from Amazon for $12. Taking it to a shop on Monday to get it removed.
I had the same thing this past spring. Overheated and dyed on the interstate then would run really sporatic. I replaced the Camshaft position sensor and have had zero problems since. Was a pain to remove the water pump but couldn't do it without. Also took probably 3X the amount of time...
I just took mine off of my 07 Denali and there is a thin (3/8") clear strip that still won't come off. I got the Eraser Wheel by Wonder Wheel and it still won't take it all the way off. Any ideas. Using my small dewalt drill and maybe thinking of hooking it up to the high speed drill.
I just replaced my factory cooler (07 Yukon Denali XL, 205K) with the Tru-Cool Max 4739 after a trip home to Ohio for vacation and some very high towing temps. I also used the install brackets from Time2Kill which were great. His write-up leaves out a lot for the Denali version which has an...
I actually just purchased the Arnott front shocks (SK-2671, $215 from Arnott) from Amazon for $175 each. I just had new tires installed last week and it's going back in at the end of this week for alignment and 2 new lower ball joints so I think I'm going to see if they can get the fronts...
Tazjamin, did you ever decide which way to go with your suspension? I'm currently in the same predicament with 180K and sloppy front end although the compressor is still running.
I'm currently going throught the same dilema with my '07 which has 180K miles. Need to replace all 4 and don't know which way to go. I'm torn by the Monroe conversion kit becuase it's so cheap, but would love to get the ride comfort back with the OE parts from Amazon or eBay. I still don't...
07Burb, Mine is a 2007, not a 2012. Are the AC Delco the equavalent of the OEM?
I've been looking at the Arnott systems as well as the Monroe conversion kits?
Has anybody used the Monroe with any success? It's looking good with the much cheaper price for the entire system.
New to this forum so this is my first post.
Need some advice on how many miles is too many to be dumping more money into my 2007 Yukon XL Denali.
Short backdrop: purchased in 2012 with 140,000 miles in pristine condition. Driven by dealership owner for 6 months after traded in. I've...
