I have 2" drop springs combined with 2" drop spindle., 3.5" dropped rear spring with 1" shackle. Belltech HW in front, StreetEdge in rear. Rides alright, and I'm 50. KYBS all 4 corners.
I ordered a driver seat bottom cover and it looks like the top center section of 60/40 seat will need to get bottom cover off and on. So how do I remove the console seat top.
It was a Magnaflow muffler and custom bent tubing to clear axle from the cat back. Less drone, no more clanging from axle and exhaust interference. Can deflate air shocks completely, but then frame and axle come into contact. Its a start.
Yea, I think I will replace the springs I have with a Belltech 3.5" dropped leaf. I have searched on the net for any springs that look like mine. No luck.
Also, it looks like there are shock extension brackets. Do I still buy shocks for dropped vehicle or stock height shock?
BTW: Thanks...
It does look like a stack of cut off spring leafs at u-bolt. Any thoughts on these?

Sorry for the cell phone pics. I am now thinking a 1 or 1.5" lift block may work??

Last year I bought a 1997 2wd 2dr Tahoe. PO says it has a Belltech kit on it. He also installed air shocks in back. I haven't driven it much, but am now driving it more, the rear is killing me. I looked underneath, it looks like it should have a notch for how low it sits. I think that's why...
Too me it isn't the engine miles, its all the other stuff that may nickel and dime you. Not to mention rattles and squeaks of a higher mileage car. I guess if the price is really right??? I know how old my 1997 with 110k miles feels, I would not have paid more than $8K for it.
