might be a blue too plug in missing but the pids for the standard obd 2 data is the same for both trucks. I don't see how the radio would know it's in a 06 vs and 07?

it's not the radio it's the interface used, I'm guessing you could tell it is 07 and just use the obd adapter for the data to the radio, I know certain things on the maestro can be bypassed or just simply not connected and could likely just be used for a obd data feed only

Yeah as soon as I compressed the old vs. new side by side I could tell they were smoked. Saving my pocket lint and buttons for a pair of 5100s for the front.

One thing I have noticed with the oem thermostat gates heavy duty is the gates used to creep to 220 sometimes under load and the OEM stays flat at 210 with no movement towing, speeding, etc.

Had both rear axle seals replaced and emergency brake pads. Luckily warranty covered 75% of it that bill was like $1300. I only had to pay 400 out of pocket
