2015 Yukon XL Denali w/ 63k on it. Based on fuel and miles have average 16 mph for last 40k miles. Just did a 400 mike trip and 19.7 on the computer. Haven’t filled it up to verify yet. Expect it to come out at about 19. A little disappointing. AFM runs seemlessly.

We took a 600 mile trip in our 2016 XL and got 22.5 mpg according to the computer. We were running 70-75mph without a head wind. Pretty happy with that.

My wife averages about 13 on a 2016 Xl Denali, probably +80% city driving and have about 28k on it we do also have 24” wheels but the fuel economy seems about the same as the 2011 Denali she had before.

My 08 currently gets 10mpg in the city and 13 mpg on freeway. I'm at 123k miles though and have noticed a significant drop in the last 30k miles. Up until I hit 90k miles I routinely got 18mpg mixed driving. I drive fairly conservative except for freeway on ramps. I would love to trade for a 16 Denali or 18, but just way too much money...

Hi,

Considering Denali and I wonder if you could share your real MPG on your Denali? City:Highway = 60%: 40% able to get around 18mpg?

Thanks!
I bought a 2015 Denali about a month ago. I drive a lot of back roads with some substantial hills, that combined with city driving gets me roughly 15.1 mpg. On the highway, I regularly average about 19.5 - 20 MPG. Much better than the 2011 Avalanche LTZ I traded in. It had a 5.3 that felt woefully underpowered under 3500 rpm and got only 12.1 mpg and 18 mpg respectively.

I actually bought the 17 with the 8 speed because I knew it had the bugs worked out. I did not want the first year of the 10-speed. The 8-speed I hardly ever feel it shift and the AFM is seamless.
I really like that white! Can we see a better picture?!
