How do you put the valve cover grommets in on a 5.3 liter engine?

How do you put the valve cover grommets in on a 5.3 liter engine? Does anyone know the trick for putting these grommets in ? 2004 aluminum covers. Watched some YouTube videos but apparently everybody either doesn't replace these or doesn't show how to replace them.

Warm them up in the sun for a few minutes, a little motor oil on the outside of grommets, and push/twist. I went in at a slight angle to get one flange edge in first. For me, it was the hardest part of the valve cover gasket project.
