Hey everyone,

SO I wanted to hook up some offload light as backup lights, and just want to get everyones thoughts.

So This is the light that I would like to hook up.

And i ended up getting this

I want to take the ground wire and the backup light wire from the hitch plug and hook it up to the lights directly. Assuming since all the wiring is 10 gauge I don't need to use a relay. Just wanted to see if that will work and if anyone see it being an issue.

I don't see where there would be a problem, you won't be drawing hardly any amperage with those lights.

Question is, where are you going to mount the lights? Up high on the roof rack, or below the bumper?

Ahh good call. For some reason I thought it would be 40amps because that is what the fuse for the 12v wire was, either way even if it is 10 amps I should be good with those light. Also last question should I add another fuse to the plug for an extra safe measure or is that not necessary.
