Actually with lift kits of almost any kind (BDS,SuperLift,RCX ect...) you have to spot weld the camber in place because you cannot adjust it once the lift is set.

I want to do the same actually. That's the best way to get rid of axle wrap. I looked at doing that not too long ago but the only place I could find wanted 5-6 Hundo for the leaf springs. How much were you quoted for yours?

it has been a few months sense I ask (got side tracked with that CV shaft idea) but I thought it was closer to 4..... I will look again

You can still adjust camber. However, with kits that drop the upper control such as the RCX kit, it creates a weak point. In addition, it maxes out your caster adjustment. As the caster adjustment helps to improve overall driveability, You really want to correct it. For me, I'm using offset upper control arm bushing which will help to put the caster adjustment back within factory tolerances.

Overall, most people overlook the nitty gritty stuff when lifting their vehicles. The lift manufactures would like you to believe that everything is bolt on and go, but it simply is not. As Jerry and I both learned, a 6" on a 2 door requires a CV rear driveshaft, funny how RCX mentions nothing of the sort!! That was an extra 3 bills. Tack on the pinion shims and I was out 5 Hundo. The new upper control arm bushings (offset) for caster correction put me back another 350 installed.

I don't know what's more expensive, a lifted truck done right or a drag car???

That's a whole other debate. Lol
