    I didn't take it that way, David. I knew what you meant:-) I've had GM vehicles for over 20 years and it's been an adventure for sure. Dealing with GM service advisors and dealership body shops is a battle more often than not. Some dealers are worse than others. Cheers!

    Yeah, I guess so David. I probably should have looked at it more thoroughly myself. I checked the obvious things like the headrests, seat belts, or other objects. Never thought it would be something so simple as a plastic trim piece under the seat.

    Sorry to resurrect this again, but noticed that mine don't lay flat either. The right side seems ok with the single seat, but the left with the double seat is elevated about 2". Definately not flat. Makes it a chore when slding large objects out because they get stuck on the lip. Pondering...

    No. It's just a basic bike rack. Nothing fancy. It slides into the 2" receiver and tightens with a screw. No electrical. Strange that it shuts the front sensors off as well. But guess that's the way it is. Thanks!
