update to my last post. I investigated my last comments and it didnt help. I adjusted the striker/latch and that helped some to pull it closer. but in the end i got fed up and did what you did with some RVT sealant
taking a closer look at it, i noticed that where the tailgate and glass meet the rubber seal is different there. it has a solid core for about 6 inches in that section. it seems to me that the glass cant close all the way due to binding up on that solid part of the seal which then causes the...
I bought my 1996 Yukon GT with 88,000 miles for $4600 two years ago. it was garaged kept and in very good shape. i do not regret it at all even though i now have about 12K into it and looking to put another $3500 into it in the next few months

Im late to this post but for anyone else that does this in the future I used a Redhead steering box. they are way better then any of the rebuilt ones you can buy form parts stores. I highly recommend.

no it wasn't. it was running between 40-60psi. i tore the engine down looking for clues but couldn't find any definite reason why it would have spun bearings.
the only good thing that came of all this is now i have a truck with 4k miles on the engine & no oil leaks in my driveway. I also took...
Since this truck is my daily and i didnt want to buy something else to drive while i did a swap i went ahead and put in the L31. It was a pretty easy project and I got it done over the weekend.
