    Im late to this post but for anyone else that does this in the future I used a Redhead steering box. they are way better then any of the rebuilt ones you can buy form parts stores. I highly recommend.

    Thanks David, I have owned a lot of cars (33 to be exact) and many of them were expensive or fast. I get way more compliments and questions on my old truck then all of my other cars combined. This is my favorite one of all that ive owned. I plan on keeping it for a long time.

    I just picked this one up with 88k miles on it for 4k. The first thing I did was put rims and tires on it. I picked up some stock rims for a 2011 GMC truck with Toyo Open County MT tires 33x12.5r20. I paid $600 and it really upgraded the look of the truck.

    Front end clunk. Need help.

    I have this exact issue on mine as well. I also feel a clunking under my foot when i brake and I hear one in the rear of my truck. I will be checking all of the suggestions on this site this weekend. Hopefully I find the answer. I only have 90k and have replaced the tie rod ends.
