UPDATE:
tried to adjust the pushrod, it doesn't appear to be adjustable (part is: "ACDelco 14PB4105 Professional Power Brake Booster Assembly"). No nut on master cylinder side; the rod on the brake pedal side spins either way but doesnt appear to changed the measurement at the pushrod (I'm...
2003 Tahoe 5.3L vacuum assist brakes (with supplemental brake assist (the little electronic vacuum pump attached to the outside of the booster)). Recently replaced my brake booster and master cylinder and am having issues with the front brakes dragging as well as the pedal traveling almost to...
I recently (a couple months ago) replaced my front belltech endlinks because one side had a broken "washer" on one side(specifically the part that sits above the polyurethane bushing and below the middle shaft thing). I ended up replacing all the bushing and the whole endlink assembly because...
We took our 07 escalade in to the dealer because of irregular shifting and the software was updated. Im thimking it was around 2009 or so, so not sure about the 08 model year but you could probably have the software updated...in my opinion i didn't really notice a difference though.
My 07 escalade alternator has gone bad and im hesitant to replace it with the o'reilly version even though its a lifetime warranty becaue i had to replace 3 of those on my tahoe and dont want to hope i get a working one. Can anyone reccomend a good replacement, im thinking of getting a GM one...
I hate to resurrect this thread......but I have yet to fix this issue, the same as mentioned above. I finally decided to buy a brand new hvac control module, and replaced the aspirator above the driver's seat. Neither of these fixed the issue....the dealership is speculating a wiring...
I had those too (not the ones above), they are pretty much the same except the chrome part is technically a cover that is glued on (which I took off on my old set) and the wheels I'm selling (above) have the police specific chrome center caps which are actually bolted on to the wheel by way of...
I saw the same issue with a 2000 silverado with an aftermarket alarm system...that thing was wired horribly. A mechanic was able to fix the wiring issues, but i would be it is because of some bad wiring, specifically a non-grounded/exposed wire (that was the issue on this truck)
Hope that fixes it, like DND said, my original one lasted over 100K but the replacement one lasted maybe 40K, and it leaked from the little drain hole, the mechanic said weep hole or something....
I have a set of police tahoe wheels from an '06 tahoe, there are tires on the wheels but they need to be replaced (Pirelli Scorpion speed rated tires) because they are worn out. Wheels come with the chrome center cap pictured, but DO NOT come with lug nuts. $300 or best offer, PM me. Buyer...
I believe mine was an ac delco, the dealership was the one who replaced it. Funny thing is after they replaced it, I'm pretty sure it continued to do the extended start thing. Sometimes it starts right up and other times it will do the extended start thing
None of the above mentioned parts that have been replaced were to fix this extended start issue, they needed to be replaced independently of that issue. My point was after all of these fixes over the last year I would think the extended start issue would have been fixed. My last tune up was...
I have an 03 Tahoe with 162,800 miles. I had the fuel filter, pump, and fuel pressure regulator replaced last year. I replaced the battery last week along with the alternator that went bad after only a year(it is under full warranty so I got a new (rebuilt) one). Yesterday after I replaced...
