Thanks guys! It's a special place we try to get to every year.
I appreciate all the info and help from the community on getting the rig ready for the trip.
It took 3 or 4 trips to the dealer and they eventually had to replace the spoiler with a new one. PITA
If you've experienced the issue I would insist on a new spoiler to avoid the run around.
:twocents:
Wife gives the rig two thumbs up. She spent a full two weeks in the mountains of central Idaho driving off road more than on.
I joined her for the last week and I have to admit the yukon did really well.
Even got to try it out in some snow:
Still driving home and trip will total ~2,100...
Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like a good niche for a custom part, eh?
Any pics of the trimmed ones would be great. Is this something a body shop could do?

I can't believe how little clearance there is up front. I know most folks don't take these things off road, but sheesh!
Anyone tear theirs off (on purpose or by accident)? :D
Thanks...

No. We went to the dealer and they adjusted it and it is better but still happening when it sits in the sun. Fortunately we live in Washington and not Arizona.
Dealer has ordered a new spoiler. I'm hoping this fixes it as it will be the third or fourth trip to deal with the issue...
