I bought my 2010 Tahoe last November, and noticed my truck has no balls. What is the deal with this? My 2004 would get up and go, but this thing has no power. When I go up a hill I have to just about floor it to get up it. I have used the Diablo tune and put an Air Raid filter and tube in it, and that has done nothing noticeable. Any suggestions?

Hmm, no balls. You might have had a little girl ;)

I actually feel the same way, even after having a tune. My 99 moved the eff out any time any rpm. No tune, only built trans, 3200 billet stall, full exhaust and intake.

When I got the tune on my burb it was like a whole new vehicle. I could finally step out and accelerate. Then when in sport mode it was a beast. I've only used the sport mode tune a handful of times, though, cuz it makes me drive like I'm 16 again

Torque management is your issue. Reduce the % mamaged and boom lots of power.

I felt that way when I got my new trans and stall in my 99.
Got a lot of shocked looks when taking off, it was a fun truck.

With my 07, I had a dyno tune as well as a road tune and it just feels like a dog. This is with a new billet stall (2800/3000) and shift kit Jr. It certainly doesn't compare to my 99. Not sure if its the extra weight or what. My 99 weighed in at around 4600 and the 07 is a claimed around 5200 pounds.

How much is a safe amount to remove?
My 99 had no tune at all and it would go go gadget legs, gonzo.

I wish, $6500 is bit outta my price range. You can grab a complete turbo kit for around $3200 shipped. Have been seriously debating that but am not sure I want my DD to be my "toy" to.

Had mine tuned to just 20% torque management left and John's right. Makes a huge difference! Been like that for a while now and no trans issues **knock on wood** In sport mode, I have 0 torque management :driver:
