I think you guys are confusing something.

You all are chasing the frothy foam look like in the videos..... so you keep adding soap to make your car look like the videos.

The more soap you have the stronger the solution becomes.

Add to this the DWELL time. When you all wash the old fashioned way the soap was NOT dwelling on the paint..... now that it is it has more time to work..... it is removing more dirt and OILS......

Those OILS that are in your wax..... that hide your scratches

I was letting the soap set for 3-4 minutes since it didnt really have a lot of soap. I know its gonna make it more potent, but i feel like its not enought soap or foam to actually stick and do what its supposed to do. Like its diluted too much.

Wax in its raw form is hard as a rock. It's all those petroleum-based additives that make it soft and pliable. Those also serve to fill scratches and remove mild oxidation with mild abrasives.

Aaaaaand how does that effect us wanting to achieve more sticky foam? Wanting more foam to achieve better results, taking off more debris. If i cant get that, then the foam cannon is pointless.

Hand washing is mo better anyhow.

After getting the mixture somewhat right I have to say the foam cannon before hand washing is much better. I think with a properly waxed vehicle that is washed once a week there would be little hand washing needed.

We hand wash the D every Saturday. Waxed every other month. I still prefer hand wash.
