Jennifer at GM customer service helped me and after talking with service manager we agreed on $250. I was holding off as long as possible but the crack on drivers side in front of cluster is spreading and a new crack in front of airbag I wanted this fixed. It's worth it in my opinion. Living in SoCal its exposed to sun all day while at work so before it spreads I decided to handle it

$250 is MUCH less than I was expecting you to say it would cost for a complete dash removal and replacement. I could live with that. I wonder how long it'll take that California sun to crack your replacement? Lol.

And I'm SO jealous! I want a '15 Yukon XL as a loaner vehicle! If I were you I'd tell the dealership to take as looong as they'd like if I were driving that in the mean time. I'm not so sure I'd be happy with my truck anymore after having that for a week. Lol

Yeah I can live with $250 all day. I'm using a sun shade for sure now. I have a family member that works at enterprise so it was to good of a deal to pass up a 2015 Yukon as a rental. It was not a striped down model either. I seriously want one more than anything now. Talk about night and day difference. I'm going to wait till the 2015i has been out for 8-10 months and then do some serious negotiations with the wife for a 2015i Denali XL. The way it drives is so damn smooth and quiet.

Nice. So the '15 isn't a loaner from GM, it's one you're paying out of pocket to rent through Enterprise?

What I did with my NNBS today.... took it in from some new shoes, Toyo AT IIs however this turned into a disaster. When the alignment guy backed it out of the shop he noticed the dash light up and pulled it back in and it was showing ABS and Trac lights on. They attempted to clear the lights by reseting it and ended up shutting everything down to where my 2007 Sub wouldn't even start. After an hour and a half they got it started with the ABS and Trac still on. I was at the dentist while this was all happening and my wife calls me. We have a friend at the GMC dealership where we bought it so I ran it down to him and his tech guy found it had a front right wheel sensor that was not responding. This was at closing so I left it at the shop to have them further dig into that sensor tomorrow and thankfully to our friend I headed home with a loaner. Although I'm grateful for his help but the little Dodge Journey really makes me miss my Sub. I really hope this turned out simple tomorrow as I had no problems prior to getting new tires and that was a big enough blow by its self. :chair:
