I ordered my sport II pack today:party33:. I can't wait to drop the hoe. For you guys who installed a spring kit to lower the Tahoe how long did you wait to get an alignment? Do they need to settle or can I run to my local shop and get it done right away? I have 56,000 on the 07 so I figure I got my money out of the stock alignment.

Drive it to the alignment shop right after. It could potentially wear the tires out very quick. I have always aligned every thing right after lifting or lowering. We actually to all the alignments for Trick Trucks after they lift or lower them (usually lift).

You should et the align done ASAP. Set your cambers in the front to -.5 to -.8 neg camber.

you will love the way it will drive.

I work for Pedders so if you have any questions please feel free to call me
at 925-215-1308 or email me at [email protected]

You should put a 100 or so miles on it before aligning it to let the suspension settle...otherwise you'll be looking at getting it re-aligned after it settles.

I also ordered a Pedders kit whcih already arrived but I have some questions for DMS since I know you work there before install.
1. Those alighment specs you gave above are the same ones with the OEM specs right?
2. Also if I removed the spring insulators out back to get close to pulling a 4" drop in the rear with the 3.28" Pedders rear coils will it squeak? If it will can I stop it by putting something there apart from the insualtors?

Nnaboy you could use an old water hose where it's metal to metal. Just cut it to fit.

I installed the rear coils/bumpstops today. The main part that gave em hell was a BS jack a bought from Walmart (trolley/floor jack) wasnt big enough. Also the shocks gave me hell too, they took alot of pursuasion to get back in the area so it could be bolted back.
Apart from all this PEDDERS IS GREAT, rides just like stock with better handling and ofcourse a lower stance!!
Front coils/bumpstops are awaiting install......
