It's pretty sweet! Plays video from the USB Drive as well as the BD/DVD drive. You can even be playing two video sources at the same time one on the front screen and another on the rear. You can also enter addresses and such while moving now

Not yet, need to hit 500 miles then change the oil first

Can you not normally at video from the USB? Or just not on the front? The intellikink manual seems to sound like it plays video from SD/USB.

Oh and how did you do this.

Oh it can play certain formats from SD/USB until you take it out of park

I can unlock the DVD in the 2012's to play while moving as well...

Just to confirm. USB still works in the back while moving.

Not sure about the back, the way its setup I don't think so. You CAN do USB at the front and DVD/BD at the back I tested that.

I own a company that develops custom software for GM vehicles.

Remove the HIM (Human interface module) i think that's what it's called, From the truck and send it to GTP he modifies it then sends it back to you.

However I am curious to know what this does for dealer support?

Nothing. It's software, they cant even tell its there.

PS its actually the Human Machine Interface Module or HMI.

What happens if there is an update released to the radio...i.e. to add apps or something else...if the dealer reprograms do we lose your unlock and if so do we have to pay 199 over again?

A normal update wouldn't overwrite this but if it somehow happened a copy of the repair order would get you out of any payment
