Over the weekend I was givin Ms. Jenny (my Yukon) a nice wash and wax and I noticed that my side panelling on one side is fading and spotting pretty bad .
I have only had her for a few months now and it definitely wasnt there when I bought her. She is an 07 and still has plenty of warranty but wasnt sure if the side panels are covered by warranty?
I would prefer to not take them off for a few reasons.
Let me know your input peeps!

You could always pull them off and get the Escalade ones with the chrome strip. Taking them off all together look good, but that is a big door with no ding protection without them.

they should be covered. My silverado had some peeling on the chrome badges and the dealer replaced them for me under warranty.

Common problem, at least with the Yukons. Not good, mind you -- but common.
Just letting you know you're not alone. Hopefully they're covered under warranty.

I think I will take it into the dealer later this week or next. They will probably tell me it isnt "bad enough" but since I have a minor in perfectionism I will stay on it. Still awhile before my warranty is up. If they arent bad right now then they will be soon.
My main concern is that when i take them off there will be a noticeable difference in the paint underneath.
