Just like the title states, I'm looking for a new set of wheels/ rims for my 2007 WHITE Z71 4x4. Having it lifted in the next two weeks and want to have the wheels and tires ready to go when I do. PREFER 20" but 18" is ok

My peers are always the place to get the best advice so here I am. Thanks in advance and please post pictures or links!

save yourself all the trouble and buy my rig...

Yours is sweet but I'm already coming from a 2007 Black Escalade and just tired of the constant cleaning. Good luck selling it though.

Have any suggestions for wheels on a Lifted WHITE Z71?

personally I like 16's or maybe 17's becuase when you air down it creates a larger "foot print" now with that being said I have 18's becuase thats what came with my truck, 20's were out of question because of what I wrote early. just remember if you go with a rancho 4 inch lift you'll need at least 5.5 inches of backspacing.

You've been a very big help and I appreciate your time in answering all of my questions.

Does being closer to 5" of backspacing kick it out from under the wheel well more? I guess what I'm asking is will 4.5" of backspacing make the wheels stick out a little from the wheel wells?

the problem i had, was that my wheels were rubbing againist the tire, no clearence between the sidewall and the "a-arm". you have to be careful otherwise you'll rub a circle in the sidewall and you'll have a blowout. you could go with 20's that should be enought to clear the "a-arms", I have no experience with 20's but I've seen a couple of guys here with a lift and 20's...

What I've "read" is that 4.5 backspacing in our case would push the wheel and the tire out further from the vehicle. Is this correct? What is the backspacing you have on the wheels in your pictures if you had trouble with the first set of wheels (or the ones that were rubbing)?

the wheels I currently have 5.75 inches of backspacing, no problems. my previous set were less than that ,if you click on my car domain and go to the second page you'll see my frsit set, as you can see they have very little lip and i had about less than a quater of an inch between my sidewall and the a-arm.

Interesting. I thought I had interpretted what I read that less backspacing would push the wheels out further.

I looked at your Car Domain page again and it looks like your front wheels are kicked out pretty far but was it the rear that you were rubbing with?

Not my rig, but the Monsters look sweet. No specs on that setup: it looks like a level kit with 20-inch rims. BTW, what color is your truck.

That's pretty sick! How do you think they would look on a white Z71?

Are Rockstars too played out? I don't see a lot where I live. Everywhere I look though, someone is saying they are played out.

I looked over this truck for quite a bit and noticed that he's done a bit of work to it to make the wheels really work for it. The front bumper has been painted, the mirrors....the "hoe" on the side is nice too.

Not sure black is going to work on a white Z71.

^^^ Im not really feelin that wheel. White looks great with a deep black rim or even a clean chrome rim. Nothing over done though.

I haven't found a black wheel on a Z71 that looked good yet and I really do not want chrome.

I came from a NNBS black Escalade with chrome all over the place. If I have to though I would do it but something simple.

I think those Monsters would look good on a white Z71. IMO black rims on a white truck look good. Rockstars are played out, but I still like that look (see below) and there aren't that many in my area. Those Enkies above look a little busy for my tastes.

Another option I have been considering is to powdercoat the stock Z71 rims black.
