can 3rd row be installed facing backward?

Anything could be done, You could just redrill/weld brackets backwards and it would work, I don't think it would be safe tho

Basically it's not just lift them out and snap them back down backwards.

i think it would be great, it'd give the back seat more leg room, and more cargo room when there's nobody sitting back there, without having to flip up the seats and crap/

+1 i could see a few cool benefits to this.. including tailgating .. i would DEF make sure it was a 3rd row with headrests though.. if you were sitting in it while it was moving.. and it hit someone and there was no headrests it could cause some serious neck trauma

not safe. the rear hatch area is the first to collapse in an accident.

not fun, riding backwards makes you car sick almost immediately.

no additional leg room... actually looks like somewhat less.
