I think you can download the maps in the Google maps settings for your area. You can connect with your home wifi to download the maps. There is an option where you don’t have to update the maps. If for some reason you don’t get the option to download maps (this happened to me), you can delete...
Truck has finally been delivered to the dealer today. Too late for inspection but I’ll pick it up next week. Here’s a pic the sales guy sent me. He’s very excited to finally get his commission. We have been waiting on my wife’s Yukon since last September had to remove a lot of options along the...
Oh this is a crazy amount of detail. Thanks!! I went there but nothing came up when I put my VIN in. Must not be updated yet or something I try again in a day or two. Thanks for the help.
How do you check United Road on your own? Or did dealer check for you? My Yukon got to rail yard in my State for offloading, but I don’t know how to get delivery updates on my own.
I had TPW of 6/27 on my Yukon Denali but didn’t get produced until 7/6. I have a window sticker and it showed up on dealer website as “in transit” today. Dealer told me it had been assigned to Union Pacific for rail transport. Hoping that means it’s coming home vs. a holding lot somewhere. Seems...
I also have TPW of 6/27. I’m pretty sure that’s the last week for a ‘22 build. They shut down for 2 weeks around holiday and come back to produce ‘23 model year starting 7/18.
A shot in the dark here and before anyone blasts me, I’m simply speculating. Could the lights be similar to a cell display? The brighter it is outside the brighter the screen (Headlights in this case) when set to auto? The logic being that when it’s cloudy or not direct sunlight then DRL are...
I think this may have happened to me as well. Did the text chat with GMC and was told my order was accepted, but when I did the chat on the GMC website it said my order wasn’t accepted yet. This was yesterday. How did you find out it was a mistake?!?
I was told by a dealer after calling about an “in transit” vehicle that GM showed on the corporate website for the dealer that GM requires them to keep it listed on the dealer website until the vehicle has been delivered and paperwork has been signed. When a dealer says it is “sold” already that...
So strange to me that there are so many negative people. I totally understand the anxiety of not knowing if you are going to be one of the unlucky ones that has a lifter problem, but why knock GM for FINALLY stepping up with the best solution. Clearly they have felt enough pain about all these...
I wanted to add the illuminated emblem to my 2022 Yukon Denali build and the dealer told me there was a hold on them as well. He couldn’t tell me why, but he did say they wouldn’t accept my build order if I kept it on. So I removed and will be looking for an aftermarket alternative.
I just put in an order for a 2022. Does anyone know if the lifter issue has been resolved or is this likely to be a problem with this particular engine? I got the dreaded lifter tick after 100k on my Chrysler minivan and was hoping I had escaped this problem with GM.
