    You could use an AFM Delete dongle that plugs into your OBDII socket, and that would eliminate the 'operation' of AFM, by stopping it from operating from the software side. Easy and inexpensive.

    Full transparency. I'm not conversant on your model year. Regarding your blank speed limit icon, my guess is that your truck is not receiving GPS information. I 'think' that is typically supplied by OnStar. Do you have an active subscription to OnStar?

    I know that you referenced this weekend as a start date, but both Texas Speed and Summit Racing sell full AFM delete kits. You may want to talk to them and make your required parts acquisition easier. Yes, the cam needs to be replaced for a full AFM delete.
