onstar only tells you the codes, which is what my code reader does. im thinking it may be my alternator due to the voltage fluctuations at a steady rpm- helicopeter

more than that I have an 05 Tahoe, it went into "power reduced mode" 2 years ago. I have a code reader and eraser and it kept happening over and over again, even after disconnecting the battery. the codes were all for throttle body and pedal position sensor faults. I replaced the battery and...- helicopeter
