Well I would just like to let everyone know that tomorrow I leave for Ft. Jackson. And then I will be heading to APG to train to become a 91B or wheeled mechanic. So thanks everyone for all of your great info on the OBS trucks.
I did disconnect the battery when I put the new iac in. And I have put around 50 miles on it since then. It still runs rough but only when it gets warmed up, now that I replaced the iac. And know cel has come on yet.
Ok so now the tahoe's symptoms have changed. When its cold it runs smooth and dosen't miss a beat. But when it gets up to operating temp it starts to misfire and run rough.
Well I got the new iac in, and reset it. But it still misfires a runs rough. This truck is driving me crazy. To me it seems like it has gotten worse. So now im leading toward a bad coil or ignition module.
Well i finally replaced the tps, and disconnected the battery. At first it ran better. But when i git back from a 40mile trip it started acting up again. No codes yet. But it still misfires and tries to die. Could maybe the coil be going bad or is bad?
yeah thats what i came to think. Was that someone was missing a cover. I know it didnt fall off because its a habit i have to look at them when i get out of the truck.
well i got the injectors replaced, and it still misfires. So the other day i was goin down the road and the CEL came on. So i checked the codes and got code 22 and 35. So either its an IAC bad or TPS bad or both.
Well over the weekend i went with the ol' lady black friday shopping. So we leave the house at midnight to go to walmart. And when we come out i find that someone stole one of my taillight covers. I didnt pay much for them but it pretty much ruined my day and pissed me the hell off.
well yesterday i was looking at the injectors while it was running. And found one of the two was flooding the throttle body. So i dug through my box of parts and found the original injectors for it. So when i get some time im going to take them to a local diesel shop and they will clean and...
