Old thread, but venting at this point before I do any more research. Bought GMEPP, I'm at about 40k miles. 2016 Yukon Denali XL, rear passenger LED brake array "shorted out" and isn't covered. Dealer is quoting $650 to repair. What a crock of shit! Especially when the original salesperson...
Looks to me like Greg Bell is selling GMPP which is owned by Ally and supposedly is getting discontinued soon, while Denny Menholt is selling GMEPP which is owned by GM--hard to compare apples to apples, but it sounds like GMEPP is way to go if price is close? Any other opinions?
They weren't made after 2013...I don't think there are re-manufactured (maybe the word you are looking for) batteries available, and it is a gamble, especially used. But they have proven to be very reliable.
Your argument may make sense, but in my case I bought it because I got decent tax credits, liked the technology independent of the gas mileage increase, and thought it was a decent hedge against increasing gas prices.
But just like me being wrong about a hedge years later, your 10k number is...
But even if you did get offered that 0%, it would be at your purchasing dealer and they wouldn't probably offer as good of a price on the GMPP as you got online anyway right? Unless you got your dealer to price match. Or am I misunderstanding? Thanks for the reply.
Are these a good deal? From the Facebook "dash crack" group, GM isn't even covering dash cracks for those under these plans. There are so many plans who knows if they really have the same GMPP discussed here, but I would be pissed if I get a dash crack or other significant cosmetic (safety?)...
All well and good, but after 7 years I've got some issues with my stickers, especially on the windows. They are peeling off and I am about at the point of removing them. Does GM replace them for free in the name of safety?
Luckily the side ones are in pretty good shape, but they would be a...
FWIW, they said they only had like 5 of them this time around, and I had to wait until a certain day for it to be active and take delivery (which worked out fine for me, YMMV)
Already dropped my Key Fob twice. I see numerous companies that offer silicon skin covers for key fobs, but nothing matches the new (?) design of the 2016 ones which I assume all GM SUVs share? Anybody find anything?
Some options are KeyGuardz and The Jacket Store. I already e-mailed them...
Just got the $3,500 GMC Bonus Cash at Laura, but its gone again now. Thanks for the tip to even lament missing the May batch, that might have been the difference!
