According to the VIN and Napa as well as verification by the local Chevy dealer; I have a 145 amp generator. Thanks again everyone!- Porky

Thanks again...over lunch I also found out from NAPA that a person can tell from the last 8 digits of your VIN. It should be either 105 amp or 130 amp according to them.- Porky

If I have a stock 2003 Tahoe I should have (select one): A. 105 amp alternator B. 145 amp alternator C. Other Thanks for helping. I am grabbing a few parts (including serpentine belt) to throw in back of the Tahoe for vacation...which starts SUNDAY! :patriot:- Porky

I had like 3 posts over at the "other" place and then silence....so now the clouds parted and the sun started shining over here. I have a 2003 Tahoe. The day my wife and I picked it up. Two days later testing it out on a late Nebraska snowstorm...only broke out one fog light :) This thing...- Porky
