    blizz - worst case, you can use the grilles that come with your 6x9's and just not use the OEM grilles at all.

    Maybe??!!??!!?? It looks lto me that with that bracket, the mount+speaker will stick out (down) a little. Worst case, you wouldn't be able to re-install your oem grille. For $19.43, I'd give it a shot!

    I got mine done. I used the Kenwood KFC-6982IE 6x9's with baffles (so the magnetic isn't touching the roof of the truck). I decided to leave the 4x11 hole as is, and mount the 6x9 speaker from the topside. I thought that if I cut a hole to expose the whole 6x9, there would not be enough beef...

    99 2dr - That link leads to an enclosure for a Silverado / Sierra. I'm sure you could do some kind of enclosure under the rear bench, but there is no way that the back seat will be able to fold down if an enclosure with any size subwoofer is in that enclosure.
