Anyone running lockers?

Looking to lift my wife's Tahoe
So doing some research.. wife didn't want a new Tahoe loves her 04 Z71 to much and has named her Tina Tahoe!! Kinda fixed my gauges!!
So wife's tahoe needed new stepper motors.. go figure.. ordered a kit off eBay.. had 6 new motors in it.. followed the directions and knocked it out.. plugged it in let it run for a bit before putting the needles back on and did that then went to test drive and the tach wasn't working.. pulled... -
Will these fit??
I searched but didn't get the answer I needed.. Wife needs new tires on he 04 Z71.. friend has a brand new set oh Hankook Dynapro ATM which we had on before but they are 285/70R17.. I had 265/70R17 on now with after market wheels.. will the 285's fit? stock suspension. -
Thinking of swapping transmissions
So my wife currency has a 2004 Z71.. already had to rebuild the trans few years ago did a nice build on it and new performance tow converter. Good converter stall for towing
Hey guys, I'n new to this forum but not new to online forums... So I'm well aware of the search function! I'm in the process of rebuilding the trans in my wifes 04 Tahoe Z71... and she wants more power and it to shift strong and pull like my vette which will never happen.
