Just added an 89 Suburban 2500 to my collection. Its decked out zombie apocalypse style. 7 in lift sittin on 37" BFGoodrich Baja/TA military tires. Has a Whipple Supercharged 350 under the hood. Its got a 5 x 10 Safari Rack. Makin it sit just under 9 feet tall
I head to the river almost every weekend and do a little sand driving. plus every couple of weeks i like to take it out and hit a couple of mud holes. This is all in a stock hoe. it held its own with a couple of jeeps. even had to pull two out of the river. will post some pics.

what type of welding are you looking at doin? MIG? TIG? Lincoln are definitely gonna be your more expensive machines.. just under those would be your Miller welders.. and Hobart makes some small 110V welders as well...
I have exclusively used Miller in my career welding in the air force...
when i get back from this deployment i may just go ahead and do and see how it turns out.. can always change back if i dont like it....

I have seen a couple threads about installing the NBS center console into our OBS tahoes.. i was just wondering if anyone has installed a jump seat from the NBS? i enjoy having an armrest, but from time to time i could really use and extra seat.

im thinkin about pickin up some spray on rubberized underbody paint from Tractor Supply Company. and paintin with that...
I have some surface rust on the frame and underbody and was wondering if anyone has painted their's and what products or techniques work good?
Also any thoughts on rhino-lining wheel wells and rocker panels
