What tires did you switch to?

Expected transmission life span
Our 2010 Hoe has over 140K on it and running great. Change the fluid, occasionally driven like I stole it (foot through the floor acceleration), and rarely tows anything. Not a burp or peep out of it. Damn good hooptie.- LJPinDrakeND

Best wheel hub assembly??
Goog or Timken, so long as it's not made in China or Japan. This has little to do with buy American. Asian steel is generally softer than US, Canadian, or even Mexican. If it says made in US, Canada, or Mexico, you should be good to go. IMHO- LJPinDrakeND

I don't know if they did or not however, about a month and half ago, we had the 60K tranny service done so I'm presuming they replaced it then. The fluids were really bad then so I can only presume they did.- LJPinDrakeND

Final Update, Got the vehicle back from the service department. They said they pulled the transmission pan and there was no shavings or pieces evident. Also, drove it all around town. Nada. Bupkis. I don't know if I was specific enough. The grinding is not continuous. It was a momentary sound with the grinding feel when the RPM spiked. Again, the noise was momentary in nature.
