I figured it out... there was an option to send the fuel efficiency to the main screen center, which I did, but that replaced the date /time in the main display. Once I turned this off the date /time showed. From what I understand, the pre-25 models were much more customizable.
It seems to be ok in manual mode, other than the expected delay to shift but that is consistent across the gears. Hopefully this means it is software and not a physical issue!?
