    Since filling up the coolant, temp holds steady at a tick under 200 with no fluctuations at all.

    Definitely going to keep an eye on the coolant level. My oil pressure is having the issue where it’s always reading 80, but it jumps to 80 automatically with only battery power. Plan on changing that sensor sometime soon.

    Was low from the get go. Purchased the vehicle, the oil pressure sender is out and the temp was fluctuating so I assumed there was an issue. Not sure why the coolant was as low as it was, I don’t see a leak so I’ll be monitoring the level.

    So based off of those fan settings, what I’m experiencing is normal? That would be awesome if that’s the case, because I was about to try to chase something that may not be an issue?

    Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking it could be air in the system, but I feel like the temp readings would be more erratic(?). Also, not sure about this but it just makes sense in my head… if the thermostat wasn’t opening and closing at the right time, wouldn’t the temp reading bounce back...

    It’s happening in 50-60F ambient temps, which is why I’m somewhat worried. Not sure how high it would get in hot conditions. What’s weird is that it only reaches those 220-230 ranges on the highway while accelerating around 50-65 mph. Stop and go traffic hovers around 190-210

    I just purchased a 2004 Yukon. Noticed while driving that the engine comes up to temp and holds around 190-200. Once on the highway, when accelerating around 50-65 mph the coolant temp rises from 210-230 range and then drops back down to the 190-200 range and holds at highway cruising speeds...
