    Doesn't sound good. Mine was shuddering. Needed a new torque converter. We ended up doing a full rebuild anyway. But it does seem like if the thing was installed in June of this year there should be some kind of warranty. Good luck

    Ok. Thank you for your input. You guys were correct that it wasn't the cv axle. It turned out be the Transfer Case chain was slipping. Replaced.

    OK. I always ran in 4wd auto mode. It finally dawned on me to put it in 2wd mode and see what happens. The clunking completely went away. So I believe it is the CV axel. I ordered the part(genuine gm) and will be replacing it this week. I will update here...
