yah at about 55-60mph or high rpm's it has a low drone. but isnt noticeable too bad with the stock stereo. I am going to be putting 4.56's in the rear as soon as I get home so it may be more noticeable at lower speeds. Not too sure though.
I am a SSG in the ARMY. omw home very soon.
This is all awesome information.. Looks like I will go with 4.56's. I doubt that I will be able to get 150 for install so I think I will end up putting them in myself. Thanks for all the info. I am sure this thread will help a few others looking into this.
I lifted my tahoe 6in with 35s on my 03.
I cant find exactly what stats I need to be looking for on the ring and pinion for my tahoe.
I figure I should go with the 4.30's but I do not know exactly what I should be searching for because 4.30 is very general when doing a internet search...
man it was so easy to do. it took me about 30 minutes and I am not mechanically inclined. The hardest part about the install is dropping your spare to take out the stock pipe. The sound is perfect to. quite rumble at idle and nice and powerful at high RPM's. Easier to install than the intake.
I got to go home on R&R from iraq for a couple weeks and got to play with the tahoe. I cleaned her up, removed badges, installed the MBRP catback amongst other things. But mostly, drove her.
the install of the MBRP was very easy and I am very very very happy with the sound.
thats what I was originally thinking but It is hard to find a a white grille, like the one on the z71. Oh and yes the badges are for sure leaving along with the rain blockers.
