    I have lost all gears in my 6L80 so I am having it replaced. This is in my 2009 Tahoe. I have been reading that I have to flash the TCM in order for the new one to work. Do any of yall have any knowledge of this?

    Towing Heavy Transmission Temps

    I have a 2009 tahoe with the upgraded towing package. I towed a 7500lb camper 200 miles at 60mph. My trans temp got to 215 but mostly stayed under that. Now my trans shifts different than before I did the tow. Any ideas?

    Strange Rattle

    Found this today. The strut mount plate on my drivers side is rusted through. The shock housing inside the strut is rusted through. Strut replacement looks to be on the agenda for Saturday.

    I found the drag... Rear pads and worn way down so sat I am replacing them. Should correct the issue. May replace brake hoses while I'm there

    Ok so I've looked and can't pinpoint this sound. I was able to get the sound recorded. Now it feels like it's dragging but everything is clear underneath.

    Thanks for all the suggestions. I will try these in the morning. It sounds like the backing plate for the brakes is vibrating. I've had it in 2 different shops and they can't find it.
