What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced the leaking transmission cooler lines and did a fluid exchange (third exchange in last 70k miles). Mine were leaking at the crimps, easy visual check. The crimps that failed are located just behind the radiator. I used Valvoline Dexron VI but saw they now have a Restore and Protect ATF.

I've had poor luck with AGM batteries in our generation of trucks, 3 failures (2 different brands) all around the 1-1.5 year mark.

That’s it! Autozone had it for $18/quart if you buy 2 or more. I found 6 quarts was more than enough to complete the job for both with a little extra for cushion.

Replaced the front and rear differential oil this past weekend. I first changed the factory fill at 100k miles using Valvoline Full Synthetic (squeeze pouch) OEM fluid was very dirty. This time, I went with their Premium Full Synthetic Extended Performance. The old fluid still looked nearly new...

2013 Rear Windshield Pump No Power

Before you check power, have you checked the thin black washer fluid tube in the engine bay? It runs downs the drivers side to the back window and can frequently get disconnected.

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Just a friendly reminder to change the plastic Ts and the hoses going to them from the water pump. I previously changed the Ts but not the hoses. One of mine cracked yesterday and left me on the side of the road while it was 95 degrees outside.

Pirelli AS plus 3 vs Michelin Defenders LTX M/S

I have the Pirelli AS Plus 3. They are top of their class for noise and comfort. However, they wear down much quicker and the sidewall tends to look brownish/grey once your tire shine wears off. You will find you need to apply tire shin more often do to the natural color. I will probably go...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Replaced valve cover gaskets and both heater hose T connectors. Unfortunately one of the new T connectors that was supposed to be “genuine GM”, that was shipped and sold by Amazon, was a bad counterfeit that leaked after install. Replaced with a Dorman from auto parts store. Reminder to pay...

What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Finally got around to installing the two factory skid plates. Used one of the bolts from the plastic splash shield to cut the threads. Less than $100 for everything and installed in 30 minutes. Thank you @gooffeyguy for the tip.

    Tahoe Laminated/Acoustic Side Windows

Has anyone found any laminated/acoustic windows that work with our trucks? Our 2014 Tahoe is primarily a highway cruiser and I’ve used noise deadening and mass loaded vinyl to significantly cut down on tire/drivetrain noises. However, wind noise at highway speeds remains a problem. I see...
