    Does replacing the ignition switch always solve the security issue? i ask because i just replaced a spider, and now i have the same crank, sputter, and no start issue.

    if it is cam bearings that sucks, i am pretty sure it is not the o-ring, i added a couple extra quarts of oil to raise the level above the o-ring, and the symptoms didn't change. Either way i think the best bet right now is to pull it and inspect everything.

    Welp after changing the oil sensor, testing the pressure with a mechanical gauge, and changing the oil. Still having issues, mostly after the engine warms up. Next steps are to change the oil pump and o-ring, and going from there. hope i don't have to pull the motor again :(.

    Quick update, i took the ol girl in to get the tuning done, while there oil pressure started to drop off, so that is where i am at currently. Tuner thinks it is a sensor issue, but i will be working through what i can to figure that out. Also while tuning the cam sensor was also working...

    Alright, i am back at it. Replace power steering hose, install Drivers manifold and plug wires AC Comp installed, and belts routed. Starter and drivers side Manifold going in hopefully tonight. Then i will be starting to reassemble the front end. I still have to get my injectors cleaned...

    yeah it was fine that old cast iron is tough, i had to pour the heat to it though. it was about 300 deg when it popped off LOL.

    Quick update, have not moved much closer on the Tahoe over the last month, spent most it traveling for work. I did have to move another project into the shop for a bit, but i got that one done. Had to spin the Tahoe around, and put a wheel seal in a 75 year old tractor.

    yes sorry i have been swamped recently, here we are right now, motor is in, i am working through the wiring, not rushing anything. Also I am currently waiting on some hoses, and other parts before i can completely button it up. With the heat settling in here over the next week or so progress...

    Update after a week of driving, the new pump started whining, so i am going to replace that, and go from there i guess. I am kind of annoyed by the quality of replacement parts these days. I'm just saying :(

    Correct, they only hook up one way, that is why i was confused by the line positions.
