    Look for a recall or Service Warranty Extension on GMC website. I had the same happen to me 2017 Tahoe last week, and it was the 3rd time. There is an issue with that vaccum pump and it needs to be replaced.

    Thanks for your reply. Sorry if I sound dumb, but are you saying the brake vacuum system could be swapped out for an Engine Vacuum? Ill have to look into that. I was hoping to keep this car for another 3-5 years, but I definitely don't feel 100% confident driving it anymore...

    Yes. I have discovered its the Brake Pump Vacuum System, and there is a 10-year Special extension warranty to replace it if it fails in that timeline. That ends next year(2027). And yes, the emergency brake was my friend.

    So the problem seemed completely fixed for about 2 days. The screen still sometimes jumps around from Channel Screen to Index screen, but so far, after 2 weeks I believe, the stations are not jumping around. So...like a 70% fix.

    I am not sure tbh about 6L80. Not sure what that means. The shop that did the repair gave me the receipt, but its very generic, which upon looking at it now is abit concerning. It just says Automatic Transmission Assembly and it comes with this 3year/100K warranty.
