    Driveshaft replacement?

I've replaced wheels and tires twice now, so I know that's not the case lol. The U-joints look like they've been replaced on my driveshaft, as they aren't the goofy melted plastic type. Honestly though, I have no clue on that, just what I've read. I'll have to find a local shop to try to get...

    Driveshaft replacement?

So, it's somewhat believable to only happen at a certain speed threshold, if it's the "stuffing" in the driveshaft coming loose due to inertia. And our trucks are factory limited to just shy of 100 mph, but I always assumed this was due to tire rating. My tires are rated for 149 mph, so I'm...

    Driveshaft replacement?

I've recently heard a rumor that our driveshafts like to explode around the 105 mph mark. Does this hold any truth? If so...what the heck are we replacing them with? Something like this? https://driveshaftstore.com/Chevrolet-Tahoe-Driveshaft-2012-366970 What is the weakpoint? Is it the...

    Custom driveshaft after lowering?

I'm chiming in WAY late here. Have you done adjustable UCA and LCA to move the rear end back to its original position? I also don't see the LCA relocation brackets on Belltech's kit.

I just came across a post from you in another thread where you mentioned "Buicks". Am I safe to assume you meant Turbo Buicks?

Sorry if I came off rude in my replies. I've built more than a few engines in the past (albeit not a truck LS) and everyone always wants to push their opinion without any factual basis or real world experience. I should've looked at who I was responding to and known better. I DO appreciate your...

Update: Per @Geotrash recommendations (I think it was him), I also grabbed ARP exhaust manifold studs, new oem front-diff dogbones, and a new oem transmission mount. Told the tech I'd give him $250 to do it all while the trans is out.

For a small truck cam, you'd probably be right. I want to do a high lift cam, so a 3200 stall is the correct application here. (see attached) I don't care if they cancel the entire warranty after all this is done.

Front diff mounts makes more sense than t-case. lol. ORDERED! Thank you! Edit: Also ordered a new OEM trans mount.

I just planned on figuring out who the tech is and leaving him $100 in an envelope. lol Do the motor mounts have to come out to get the trans out? If so, I have some AFP mounts I've been putting off installing. Good point on the ARP exhaust manifold studs. I'll get those ordered. I'm not...

Keeping this here from the other thread: Sunday 03/17 my transmission decided to identify as gender-all-neutrals. I was cruising along, low load/low RPM and suddenly had a TON of slippage, and gear-hunting. In less than a minute I went from slipping to no forward or reverse gears. I purchased...

Just ordered my Circle D from Michigan Motorsports. Also ordered a bunch of stuff from Amsoil. May as well put good fluid in the trans, t-case, and diffs while I'm at it.

It's going back to the dealership to be done. For the first time in the history of ever, an extended warranty is paying off. HOPEFULLY, they'll do it the way you said. I'm going to bring them a Circle D 3200 to put in it. I'll be installing a TruCool afterwards, also.
