4l60e with 195k Need Advice
The 2004 Tahoe is getting a reman engine at 194K along with all the usual hose, belt, misc updates. I plan to do the precautionary pump rub fix on the transfer case and check components for wear, replace seals etc.. So that leaves the transmission which I now have sitting on the work bench. Crank and Cam Positioning Sensors
While I'm replacing the engine should these sensors be replaced or just reuse the Originals? I definitely don't want to go back and replace the old crank sensor behind the starter a few thousand miles down the road, so though it wise to replace them all now. Will a relearn need to be done...- firsthere

Propping Hood Vertical
While reviewing videos of engine removals I noticed some guys propping the hood vertical instead of removing it to gain access for an engine hoist. I'm wondering which bolts are removed and how to steady while vertical. Anyone here tried this method? -
