2017 K&N Cold Air Intake (Blackhawk Kit)

Awesome man! Good choice on the intake. I made a short youtube video about the installation process for this CAI awhile back. There were definitely some details that K&N left out. Now time for the Tune :)

You probly don't need them, but it wouldn't hurt to get them. Do you know how low they dropped it from stock height?

Right on man! That's awesome to hear. You got good taste bro Lol. With all the mods you're looking to do, it's going to look bad ass. That's pretty cool how you found one that was already dropped. One less thing to do.

Welcome man! Congrats on the purchase bro, good choice! The Tahoe should look really good after adding those mods on it. Blacking out the grille & window trim makes a huge difference. Keep us all posted with some pics!

    Need opinions on black out!

There's tons of vehicle wrap companies in the bay. They're all over. Yelp is your best friend when it comes to this.

Where do you see price and availability for the RST Grilles? Do you have a link?

    Need opinions on black out!

Good choice on the color. That pepperdust color is super nice. The way I did mine was debadge the Tahoe logos. Looks cleaner without them IMO. I blacked out the window trim and grille using a gloss black vinyl wrap. Cost was around $500 for the grille, chrome accents right above headlights and...

That's a great deal. Same exact price I was quoted for my grille and window trim.

‘18 Denali Yukon - Just bought a Corsa Sport exhaust

Good choice man! You won't be disappointed and you'll love the way it sounds. Cold start in the morning is the best!! It makes me always want to drive my Tahoe in Manual mode just so that I downshift and hear that thing growl.

    New Look for my 2015

Looks good man! I vinyl wrapped my grille with a black gloss wrap, but I would like to color match it. What did it cost you to get it done?

Blacking out trim and emblems ‘18 Denali

That's ALOT of chrome that you want to cover up. If I were you, i'd start with the window trim first. In my opinion Gloss Black Vinyl Wrap looks best for that. For both sides it'll run about $200-$400. Being, that your truck is white, it may look a little weird blacking out the chrome strip...

Anybody buy a 2018 RST with the 6.2?

I blacked out all of the chrome on my 16 Tahoe, but would love to get a color matched grille like the new RST has.

New to the forum. What do u think

Send a message to Vanquish Auto. They sell LED's and HID kits for the newer Tahoes. I got a white bulb HID kit for my 16 and they're hella bright and match the LED strip on the headlights. No flickering issues as well. Huge difference from the OEM bulbs.

You definitely want to look into a Corsa Catback exhaust. This mod alone will make you want to drive your Tahoe much more. The cold start in the morning is so nice. You don't hear the exhaust much while you're cruising on the freeway, but when you step on it, it really comes to life. Also vinyl...

    24s rubbing

I'm experiencing the same issue on my right side after my 2/3 drop. When I make a right turn, I can hear the rubbing. Possibly too big of a tire? I'm running 305/35R24 tires and GMC Sierra Replica Rims. Not sure what the offset is on those.

    Finally Lowered My 2016 Tahoe

That sucks man! Definitely sounds like a lesson learned there. I haven't considered removing my roof racks yet, but i'm going to look into it. I know it would look a little cleaner without them. Have you taken yours off?

    Finally Lowered My 2016 Tahoe

Congrats on the transition man! I think you made the right decision. I was looking at Silverado's at first, but needed something that would hold a couple more people when I needed to. The Federal Tires are holding up pretty well. I've had them for about 5 months now and they've been good so far.

    Finally Lowered My 2016 Tahoe

They're Federal 305/35R24 SUV Tires. 22's would look & ride nice as well. Bigger tire equals better ride IMO. Here's a pic of it sitting stock height.
