This has got me wondering about my boards. I hate even having them on there but the wife and kids need something. I'll either do this or try fitting extended cab truck steps to the Yukon. The selection of steps for GM SUVs is flat out terrible if you want to spend less than $500.
I've not run e85 personally because it's not cost effective to do so in terms of mileage. I've seen losses of up to 4 mpg mentioned. Here e85 is about 8-10 cents less tha 87, so not worth it there.

Black Bear Performance tune. It will make you truck so much more fun to drive. They have a great reputation among those on TYF. My truck gets 2 mpg better than before with way more throttle response and plenty more mid range power.
Mine didn't have a factory cooler and I hit 200+ on the interstate towing air.
I put a cooler in and now rarely see temps over 170 and the thermostat keeps it above 150.
I'd put in a larger cooler and a thermostatic bypass. It will give you some more clearance between you and transmission death.
