    Sorry I don't have the part number but this happened to me on multiple vehicles, because we tend to keep them so long!? :) Anyway, I have used JB Weld high temp bond and stainless steel pole barn screws from the local hardware store. My repairs using those have lasted for years. Hope that helps...

    I realize this could be too simple but is there any chance of the seatbelt latchplate hanging incorrectly and tapping against the side because it's twisted on the webbing or is the webbing twisted just enough to make that happen or something like that?

    I got one of those $20-some OBD2 Bluetooth code readers for a smartphone, uses the Torque Lite app. That'll read it, clear it and more. Was going to get a link for you but it was years ago and the one I purchased isn't found any longer on Amazon.
