^This. I've seen people posting about being blinded by the large chrome interior trim pieces before and vinyl seems like an easy fix. In a year and half of ownership I've hardly noticed this as a problem but maybe it's just because I live in the PNW where the sun hides behind clouds most of the year
I personally can't see the cameras on these vehicles using too much battery power even if they did record things when the vehicle is not running. My cameras I have mounted around the exterior of my house run on 2 AA batteries and have been up for 6 months now with no battery issues. Car battery...
If everybody had the same taste the world would be pretty bland and everything would just look the same. I think chrome looks good on the right vehicle (ie classic cars that have real metal trim plated in chrome) but all this plastic fake chrome on new vehicles just looks cheesy. It's almost as...
Conditions must be just right for folks to be getting mpgs in the 20's cause I've owned a 5.3 equipped suburban or yukon xl for 10 years and don't think I've ever seen the mpg break 20. Our '11 was basically 14-15 avg and the '21 is 17.5 so that's a win in my book
I agree with the gmc lovers in here it is just a better looking front end in any trim level. It’s no wonder they are a changing the front ends on silverados to look more like the gmc. I will admit though the current Tahoe/suburban in RST trim is a very sharp looking ride but the rest of them are...
We ditched the stocks on our slt around 5k miles. It came with the continental lx-20 fuel plus tires and they rode super smooth and quiet but the wet performance was horrible. Went with nitto ridge grapplers and I don’t think I’ll ever look at other options again, they’re fantastic

I didn’t say anything about the vehicle or software being made in China but I’d sure be willing to bet a lot of these vehicles electronic parts are
I don’t have any xenophobia I’m just saying lots of stuff on the shelves in...
Sounds like something strange in the wiring. Maybe wires in the wrong spots in the harness between the headlight plug and the emblem? It should illuminate anytime the parking lights and or headlights are on
When we had our leak problem the local dealer had a test unit of some sort they used to spray water on it from above. They actually dropped it on our Yukon and scratched the driver front fender but fessed up to their mistake. It was so minor we never would have known but ended up getting an $800...
1/8” drill bit on a cordless drill and a flat blade screwdriver is just as effective as using a key on 90% of the locks (any type of lock) out there so honestly nothing is safe. I worked at a lock shop for 8 years and know for a fact that locks only keep honest people out
Also in a front plate state and I know for a fact they will pull you over and ticket you, been there. I have collector plates on a couple of my cars so no front plate required, they only issue you one for the rear actually. As for the yukon its just your average everyday kid hauler so who really...
Normally I really dislike nearly all aftermarket wheels I see but those look really good! Thank you for not going with black or black with chrome accents like every other new gm suv out there. A little originality goes a long way
If it's under warranty still I wouldn't worry about it as GM will fix it at no cost to you. Out of warranty I'd be pissed. I also think anyone that owns one of these new models without some form of warranty is out of their minds. Way too much high tech shit on these to go wrong that's both...
What I was trying to say in my earlier post (but seems I failed to actually type what I was thinking) is the air ride equipped at4 can be lifted up to 2" in offroad mode and that's probably what whoever the OP talked to meant by "the at4 is lifted already." They most likely assume he has air
We have a '21 yukon slt 4wd with a 5.3 and it consistently gets 17.5 mpg tank after tank like clockwork. Low grade fuel only and I personally think it has plenty of power, but also admittedly drive like a 80 year old lady headed to church most the time. My wife drives much more spiritedly than I...
So from what I’ve read the Yukon at4 has a 2” lift if equipped with air ride and the sierra at4 has a 2” suspension lift…I would think if the OP doesn’t have air he doesn’t have a lift. As far as front only that’s totally doable you’d just do a 1” front only. Our slt was around 1 1/4” higher in...
This is one of those ridiculous arguments IMO. As if not having a front plate makes it look so amazing or something. They look exactly the same with or without it, like a big brick on wheels full of crying kids going to soccer practice. Mine came without it installed and I PAID another dealer to...
It's the actual vw shape, about 3/8' thick. I hadn't looked too closely at it before but seems to be a fairly simple diy project I could achieve that look by painting the vw part red and not touching the black background piece it mounts on.
